A Ripon man has been charged with seven felonies for allegedly running a meth lab out of a Ripon apartment.

And he’s already facing steep charges levied against him last August for allegedly sexually assaulting a child in Ripon.

Kyle J. Erdmann, 23, N7815 Highway 44/49, was charged yesterday (Wednesday) in Fond du Lac County Circuit Court with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of meth, possession of materials for manufacturing meth, possession of waste from meth production, possession of paraphernalia used to manufacture meth and felony bail jumping — all felonies.

He also was charged with criminal trespass, criminal damage to property and possession of marijuana.

According to the criminal complaint, Ripon Police headed to Kenwood Senior Living apartments to check on a possible trespassing call.

Erdmann’s grandmother had called the department to report that her grandson, who had stayed with her in the past, was no longer welcome at her apartment.

Although she was spending time out of state, she had been contacted by the apartment management company that Erdmann was in her apartment.

His grandmother reportedly told police that she had changed her locks in an effort to keep him out and didn’t want him there.

When officers got to the apartment, they found Erdmann — and a lot more.
