As Sherry Briskie discovered, when it comes to creating a new business, sometimes everything just falls into place.

That certainly was the story of how Ripon’s new hair and nail salon, Revive, was born.

“I always thought it would be cool to have my own place,” Briskie said. “This building has a lot of character, so one day I was looking at buildings and this one was available. That started the idea.”

   That was in June.

Just a few short months later — on Monday, Oct. 2 — Revive will open at 314 Watson St.

Just as easily as a location came together, finding the stylists and nail technicians worked out equally well.

Several Ripon women who worked together in the past all will be renting chairs at Revive now.

“You wanted four stylists, and here we are,” said Kasey Steinseifer, who is joining Briskie along with Lisa Henning, Kallin Splittgaber and Monica Wickboldt.

Each comes to Revive with years of experience.
