Isaac Masters, Elliot Hoerdemann, Koy Brecklin, Zach Bart, Nathan Larson and Owen Schaalma were just freshman in 2014 when the Ripon College men’s basketball team played the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay (UWGB).

   How times have changed.

The group, which was experiencing its first taste of collegiate experience back then, will receive a chance to get another crack at the Division I school Monday, Oct. 30.

Ripon and UWGB will play each other in an exhibition game at the Resch Center, with tip-off slated for 7 p.m.

“I think I’m looking forward to seeing how the seniors do, given that the last time we played in Green Bay was when those guys were freshmen,” Ripon head coach Ryan Kane said. “Seeing the development that those guys have made over the course of their four years and seeing them on that same floor and that environment will be neat.”

He also is excited to return home.

Kane, a native of Green Bay, served as a ball boy for UWGB and dreamed of playing for the home team while growing up.
