Tyler Semenas, who is called Ty by Ripon College head men's basketball coach Ryan Kane, battles for a loose ball.

As much as rosters changed during Ryan Kane’s time as Ripon College men’s basketball head coach, one name has not.

   That would be Ty.

Through his first six years at the helm of the program, Kane always has had a player with that name. And they seem to always be one of the team’s top producers.

Among them were averaging 13.4 points as a sophomore and 12.9 points as a senior — both of which ranked second on the team.

The only player scoring more points than him in those years?

Of course, it was another Ty.
