The Salvation Army Red Kettle bell-ringing campaign will be beginning on Friday, Dec. 2.

For the four December weekends prior to Christmas, plus Dec. 20 and 21, there will be volunteers ringing bells for the Salvation Army Red Kettle campaign at Marketfresh, K-Mart and Webster’s Marketplace.

In addition, a number of stores in Ripon have counter kettles at which you can make donations while shopping at those stores.

We ask that you be generous in making donations when you pass one of the Red Kettles.

During its past fiscal year (Oct. 1, 2016, to Sept. 30, 2017), the Salvation Army wrote over 200 vouchers totaling nearly $20,000 to help people in need in the Ripon area with lodging, rent, utilities, food, transportation, health care, clothing and other needs. ...
