Kudos to downtown businesses and Ripon Main Street for a festive pre-Dickens weekend.

People were buying from our fabulous local businesses, kids were lined up to see Santa and the reindeer, smiles and waves were abundantly given from the perch of the horse-drawn carriage, storefront displays were gorgeous outside and the shops were packed on the inside.

The effort of so much hard work by our city and community members has really paid off! The only thing that was not so wonderful was the traffic.
If this event is offered next year, I suggest that vehicle traffic along the downtown blocks of Watson St. be restricted or prohibited for a better experience. ...
