A potential buyer shows interest in Heidel House

Heidel House has an interested buyer, announced Green Lake Mayor Jon McConnell.

Amid concerns on room tax, Mayor Jon McConnell delivered positive news regarding the Heidel House Resort & Spa.

During his mayor update, McConnell noted, “This past weekend, I met with a very serious buyer regarding Heidel House who is positioned to act quickly regarding this property. This project would be very beneficial in retaining Heidel House and Green Lake as a vacation destination.”

He explained he could not go into more depth on the issue since the discussions in regard to buying Heidel House have been conducted on a confidential basis. He explained that will continue to be the case until a proposal is submitted and acted upon.

Though the conversations are held behind closed doors, McConnell noted, “I have not tried to hide any information from the public, but I do wish that everybody would honor that confidentiality until the appropriate time.”
