Many restaurants have an unspoken guarantee that if you don’t like your food, they’ll compensate you for your dissatisfaction.
Cousin Subs has shared that understanding.
Only now it’s going very public with the message.
The 147-restaurant chain, which includes Ripon’s store at 1075 W. Fond du Lac St., has begun a new Cousins’ new system-wide guarantee program: “If you don’t like your Cousins Sub, it’s on us.”
To get the word out that Cousins stands behind the quality of its sandwiches, company president and chief operating officer Christine Specht was in Ripon last week to meet with Ripon franchisee David Johnson.
Cousins officially introduced the guarantee program statewide the day after the Super Bowl with a new television, radio, Internet and in-store campaign featuring Specht herself.
The day after she launched the campaign, she visited Ripon.
