MPES Science Fair was a blast

Jason Nielsen makes his volcano experiment bubble over.

Junior scientists flooded Murray Park Elementary School recently for the school’s annual science fair.

Spectators were treated to varying exhibits from exploding volcanoes to potato generated electricity to working catapults.

The junior scientists were greeted by teachers, parents and even some Ripon College students at the event. The elementary students were able to show off their experiments and explain how they worked to the visitors.
