MPES speaker shows a love for life

Matt Glowacki speaks to a crowd of students at Murray Park/Quest Elementary School.

Matt Glowacki doesn’t have any legs.

This is a fact the motivational speaker didn’t shy away from during his presentation, “Walking is Overrated,” at Murray Park/Quest Elementary School.

Glowacki was born in 1973 with no legs, and there was never a reason given as to why.

“People ask me, ‘How can you be so happy when you don’t have any legs?’” Glowacki said. “I tell them that it seems my disability exists more in you’re mind than it does in mine. I really like my life.”

Glowacki has plenty of reasons to be happy.

Beyond being a successful professional speaker, he owns his own mobile music company and wheelchair manufacturing company.
