New CPA (at old business) invests in his customers
Ken Folberg

When Ken Folberg acquired the CPA firm of Baker, Koffarnus & Simmons in downtown Ripon this spring, he made a decision.

He wasn’t just going to invest in a new business: he would invest specifically in his new clientele.

Folberg invested time in meeting them. He invested himself by greeting them warmly. And he invested money in the business as he began to renovate the Ripon storefront at 108 Watson St.

The CPA’s return on investment? Happy customers who enjoy coming into see him, and who now can feel more comfortable than ever in the business.

“I try to take a real client-focused approach to things,” Folberg said, adding the community has reciprocated. “I am so delighted by how warmly the community has welcomed me. Every client I’ve met has just been a great experience.”

His friendly approach is one Folberg has been honing for years, ever since he started off in the Air Force, moved into corporate finance and finally opened his own firm in Cedarburg, Wis.
