Hearts

To school boards in Green Bay, Appleton, Neenah, Oshkosh and Kimberly that reversed previous plans to make school masking optional and instead are requiring masks of all students and staff, regardless of vaccination status. Quote This

—TV actor Ed Asner, while speaking to a standing-room-only crowd of Ripon College students and others at Harwood Union in October 1990. The fellow who played Lou Grant on the “Mary Tyler Moore Show” suggested that government, from the left and right, likes to censor. And the media, he added, often are willing dupes when they uncritically parrot the comments of “reliable sources,” often government officials. The seven-time Emmy winner died Sunday.
