To the editor:

When you act like a hammer, everything is a nail. That’s Tony Evers, stuck back in last March bureaucratic virus-think.

Recall the incandescent bulb ban? The govt. forced poisonous mercury content compact floresents on us. Had govt. refrained from meddling, the marketplace would evolve to today’s superior LED lights.

President Trump’s Operation Warp Speed bypassed cumbersome bureaucrat agencies, providing vaccines in record time, more on the way, We’re currently reaping the benefits, slowed down only by Evers’ committee dithering over who gets vaccine priority. Evers should have had a plan by last October. Stuck on “wear masks, close schools and churches, shut down businesses,” (except Walmart, big box stores), and “be very, very afraid,” was Evers’ game plan emergency declaration after emergency declaration.

Moving forward, Remdesivir, an anti-viral, functions like a copy machine paper jam, blocking the virus from making copies of itself.

Molnupiravir, another oral compound, causes errors in this China virus copying code.

Anti-viral anti-inflammatory Fluvoxamie shows promise.

Plitidepsin is 27.5 times as potent as Remdesivir, targeting human proteins this virus needs to replicate.

Researchers are investigating immune modulators, which tamp down the body’s immune system over-reaction to this virus.

Edu-crat Evers thinks we’re all little children in his classroom to be dictated on living our lives. No, we are adults. Individuals can decide on their own what is best for themselves dealing with this virus. Evers has proven himself to be incompetent and irrelevant for workable solutions. Just ignore Evers.

You want to talk about slowing things down, how about Trump at the start of this? He ignored it and told people not to worry. He had no plan and would not listen to the experts. He wants to drink bleach. How many people died because of his denial? Evers is the one that put a mask mandate into affect. Trump refused to wear one. His family shows up at a rally and wears their mask to get in then takes them off. It was all on camera. Biden has a plan unlike Trump and it is working. Evers not the Republicans is the one trying to keep Wi safe. The Republicans are trying their best to block everything he does and the net result is a higher death toll.

Ha ha ha that is the most lopsided idiotic rant that may even trump some of sallies. Are you kidding me? Donnies the one who told us this would all go away quickly and wouldn't be a problem whatsoever for our country. Donnie is the one who told us to drink bleach. Donnie is the one who told us to take hydroxychloroquine when it has been found to do absolutely nothing but maybe cause harm and take the medication away from people who need it for other illnesses. trump hurt the amount of vaccine we have not ordering more when the opportunity arose allowingnother countries to get it before us and not using the defense production act to boost production of vaccine and ppe etc. Wisconsin is doing what almost every state has in determining which groups should be getting vaccines 1st... Logically. But let's gloss over all of the blatant mistakes don made and try to blame a governor for dons failings as a president and human being. I get these are opion letters (obviously this one is all uninformed nearly factless opinion) but anything this misguided should be removed or not published in the 1st place. Or be preceded or followed by a bold print box that says this opinion is manure and should be taken as a complete work of fiction
