To the editor:
When you act like a hammer, everything is a nail. That’s Tony Evers, stuck back in last March bureaucratic virus-think.
Recall the incandescent bulb ban? The govt. forced poisonous mercury content compact floresents on us. Had govt. refrained from meddling, the marketplace would evolve to today’s superior LED lights.
President Trump’s Operation Warp Speed bypassed cumbersome bureaucrat agencies, providing vaccines in record time, more on the way, We’re currently reaping the benefits, slowed down only by Evers’ committee dithering over who gets vaccine priority. Evers should have had a plan by last October. Stuck on “wear masks, close schools and churches, shut down businesses,” (except Walmart, big box stores), and “be very, very afraid,” was Evers’ game plan emergency declaration after emergency declaration.
Moving forward, Remdesivir, an anti-viral, functions like a copy machine paper jam, blocking the virus from making copies of itself.
Molnupiravir, another oral compound, causes errors in this China virus copying code.
Anti-viral anti-inflammatory Fluvoxamie shows promise.
Plitidepsin is 27.5 times as potent as Remdesivir, targeting human proteins this virus needs to replicate.
Researchers are investigating immune modulators, which tamp down the body’s immune system over-reaction to this virus.
Edu-crat Evers thinks we’re all little children in his classroom to be dictated on living our lives. No, we are adults. Individuals can decide on their own what is best for themselves dealing with this virus. Evers has proven himself to be incompetent and irrelevant for workable solutions. Just ignore Evers.
