TO THE EDITOR:
On behalf of CARE (and many other supporters behind the scenes), I would like to thank ALL citizens in the Green Lake community who made their viewpoints known by voting in the third 2010 school referendum on Sept. 14, 2010.
... Because of the concerns held by both sides of how best to resolve the school’s financial dilemma, there has been a great deal of misleading and erroneous information circulating.
In the near future, CARE will be publishing a detailed position statement, along with a comprehensive list of questions that we look forward to receiving answers to from the School Board and administration.
In addition, CARE will be publishing a strategy statement that outlines specific goals we recommend be implemented by the School Board and administration.
CARE hopes that through these efforts, the School Board and administration will share our belief that holding a fourth referendum does not serve the best interests of our children or community.
