To the editor:

(Re: “Judiciousness, not years, should merit court’s top spot; vote yes on April 7,” April 2) Tim is proposing that the lieutenants elect the general who will lead the Army. No need for experience by having to become a first lieutenant, then captain, and then major, followed by lieutenant colonel and then colonel before becoming a brigadier general.

Tim also knows that no newly elected member of Congress gets on select committees without seniority. The same is true of our public corporations. Most corporations promote leaders from the inside — with the top position earned after years of experience. ...

Tim also knows that a previous mayor — with limited knowledge of business — put Ripon in deep trouble because of the sweet talk of a con man.

Tim is smarter than to support the group who want to buy the highest court in Wisconsin. ... Tim has sold his soul to this false claim of protecting DEMOCRACY.
