TO THE EDITOR:

(Re: “Celebrating 40 years of smiling faces and silly stories,” Aug. 10, 2017) I was delighted to see the article about the 40th anniversary of Grace Lutheran Preschool.

I was undoubtedly one of the many, many students who walked through those doors over the years. The memories of that special two years of my life I will never forget.

Thank you Mickey Veleke, Faye Zacharias and Ruth Ann Smith for making growing up, such a wonderful experience.

What made it even more special, is that for me, living my later years in Ripon for quite some time after being born and raised there, seeing my former teachers come up to me and remember me, after 28 years is truly impactful and something to be thankful for. ...
