To the Editor:

John F. Kennedy was my president.

I am not even a Democrat; I mostly vote straight Republican, and wasn’t even alive when he was assassinated.

... He was the president of my parents’ generation, and I was raised to admire, respect and love him as many others did.

He was in my opinion, America’s greatest president.

The naysayers and critics can say what they will about the president’s lifestyles or his father Joe’s racketeering and boot legging.

But those people must still look at themselves in the mirror....
