TO THE EDITOR:

(Re. “Hearts and Darts,” Aug. 26, 2010) This message is for the person that gave darts to the children playing at the Village Green concerts.

I am wondering when there were rules placed for the Village Green concerts?

A few weeks ago in the paper, darts were made to the people that brought in their own beverages and not soliciting the venders. Last week, there were darts in the paper for kids running around enjoying themselves at the concerts. ...

If the community expects young children to sit during a concert when the grown-ups themselves are up dancing and enjoying themselves, then they should watch cable at home and enjoy their peace.

... Just my opinion — and my son is one of the kids that run around at the concerts. As long as I am a responsible parent and keep my eye on him and he is not running in the middle of the street, he should be able to play with his friends.
