Volunteers for the Red Cross Blood Drive, held at Mount Zion Lutheran Church in Ripon, were so encouraged by the results of the last blood drive.

According to the local American Red Cross office, on that afternoon, 47 people presented to donate. We collected 36 whole blood units and seven successful double red cell procedures were performed, resulting in another 14 units.

Overall, the Mount Zion Red Cross Blood Drive collected 50 units, benefiting 150 patients! This is a happy increase of nine units over recent, previous drives. Thank you, Ripon area residents, for your increased generosity!
