To the Editor:

We are collectively in awe over the outpouring of community support at our recent fundraiser for the High Adventure Sea Base Trip for the boys in Ripon’s Boy Scout Troop 735.

We cannot possibly thank everyone adequately.

Parents, without your support, these boys would not be where they are in their scout rank today.

Keep pushing them to continue the journey!

Christina & Al Muenchow, Jan Meier and Pat Conlon, God has blessed you with some incredible musical talent.

We thank you for sharing your gifts with us.

Our silent auction baskets would not have been possible without the help from Paula Jones, Tom Brink and area businesses.

In case you are wondering what a High Adventure Sea Base Trip is, it is a trip to the Florida Keys. In 2022, scouts will travel to the Brinton Environmental Center in Summerland Key, Fla., for an ocean adventure where they will spend the week camping on Munson Island and have the opportunity to snorkel the reefs, kayak through mangroves and go deep sea fishing.

Troop 735 is also planning a side trip to Dry Tortugas National Park — one of the most remote National Parks — 70 miles west of Key West, FL.

The adventure is guaranteed to provide lifetime memories for the boys on this trip.

On behalf of Ripon Troop 735, thank you again for your support.
