My dear father, Charles M. Gozinske, was a World War II veteran, 36th Division, U.S. Army. His service time involved many operations in Europe, one memorable instance, being part of the troops liberating a work camp in Germany, a section of the concentration camp system.

My father was a 50 caliber machine gunner, this kind, gentle dad, what a hardship.

To say his life was perilous then is an understatement. ...

This history of my father and his sacrifice, brings my husband and I to the conclusion, that when Donald Trump was given a replica of the Purple Heart by a veteran and Mr. Trump stated, “I always wanted one of these, I guess I got it an easier way,” was disgraceful. ...
