According to the Ripon (England) news a hotel “collapsed into administration.”
That’s the British term for ‘bankruptcy’.
The Corona virus 19 is undermining travel related establishments.
Back in 1347, 12 Genoese galleys sailed into Sicily. They carried rats and the rats carried fleas which carried the bubonic plague.
That ‘Black Death’ wiped out up to 60% of Europe’s population world wide from 75 to 200 million. It took from 1300 to 1500 for Europe to regain its population.
Towns and monasteries and other places where people gathered in close proximity were most vulnerable.
Wearing a mask, to protect others and the future of business is the very least we can do. There will be a lot of “collapsed into administration” otherwise.
