To the editor:
It has recently been brought to my attention rumors are circulating again in the community that the Ripon Area Food Pantry, located at St. Catherine of Siena, is no longer in operation.
Let me assure everyone that we have been handing out food continuously and we have no intention to end the service.
The spreading of rumors aids no one. Not only does it make rumormongers appear “little,” it hurts people who really need assistance.
We do not plan to cease operation and are available to anyone in the Ripon area needing food help.
