To the editor:

Thank you to the 2,031 voters in the City and Town of Ripon who voted for me in the November 3rd election. I am incredibly appreciative of the support and trust you placed in me.

Even though the results did not turn out the way I had hoped, I remain humbled by the number of folks who believed in me and the message of this campaign.

I wish our new Representative, Alex Dallman, the best as he transitions into this role. It is my sincere hope that he will successfully serve everyone in our community and the surrounding rural spaces that make up District 41.

I have felt the call to serve for a long time. Over the past few years, I have found many opportunities to serve Ripon and the local organizations that have impacted me. It was my hope that I could serve our community and state in a greater capacity.

This was never about me — it has always been about giving back to the people and places that have made me who I am. I love Ripon and all that it has to offer. I will continue to serve and do my part to support Ripon in being a place that anyone can live, work, and truly thrive in.

Just reading your letter reaffirms my belief in you being the better of the three candidates. Thank you for trying and I hope that I will be hearing more about your involvement with not just local politics, but on the state or national level as well. Thanks again Mr. Zimdars!
