To the editor:

I would like to share my deepest thanks with everyone who voted for me in the fall primary for State Assembly. It was very humbling to see the support and trust the community I have called home all my life placed in me. While the election that will determine if I am to serve Ripon as our next state representative is still a few months away on November 3rd, I am encouraged by the primary results and excited to continue working for everyone who calls this slice of heaven home.

I also would like to thank candidates Gary Will, Luke Dretske and Chuck Harsh for running and providing positive voices to important issues. If you voted for any of these candidates and are now looking for a new candidate to vote for in November, I hope you consider Nate Zimdars. If you ever have any questions or would like to share your concerns with me, feel free to contact me at

Following the primary results, it is apparent that I am the only candidate with any elected public office experience, has been trusted to use taxpayer dollars wisely, is deeply involved in my community and has the strongest connection to one of our district and state’s largest economic sectors: agriculture. It is my hope that means something to you as a voter. I kindly ask for your support on Election Day.
