Looking back through 2018, the Green Lake and Ripon area had several major events. Eight of the moments were highlighted as some of the most significant. Here are a few major snapshots from 2018:

Jan. 11: Heidel House renovation means no weddings for 2019, but business will run as usual. Oct. 11: Rumors spread on whether it was sold; Fiore Companies, Inc. said no sale occurred.

April 30: Area contractors break ground for the new multifunctional space known as “Mill Pond Terrace” north of Town Square in Green Lake.

May 24: A major fire engulfed two residential units at 471 Meadowlark Lane in the city of Green Lake. Several people, including one firefighter, were transported to Ripon Medical Center.
