To the editor:

(Re: “Mill Pond dam likely won’t be done before the snow flies,” Sept. 17, 2017) I think that efforts should be made to save the fish population. Maybe by putting in a filter of some sorts.

The community, I believe, is uneducated at the great fish population that pond has to offer.

I’ve fished there my whole life and can tell you: if efforts aren’t made, the fish population won’t be the same as it is today for another 15 to 20 years.
