Murray Park/Quest teachers, staff members and even the custodian weathered off and on rain Thursday, May 28 to wish students farewell and the students paid it back with smiles, signs and even a waving kitten. At Barlow Park/Journey, families lined up, often for blocks, to say goodbye to their students' teachers. With the end of the school year canceled due to the pandemic, school officials felt this was the best way for "students and teachers [to] see each other (from a safe distance) in person one more time before the official end of the school year," according to Jolene Meyer, PR specialist for the Ripon Area School District.
