Nearly 400 finish 13dot1 races

What could be more refreshing than an early morning, Sunday run in September?

Not much, for these runners.

The annual “13dot1” half marathon and 5k run Sunday saw 150 and 240 finishers, respectively.

The top-five male and female finishers in both races are:

Half Marathon

Males (out of 67 participants): 1. Ryan Richert (1 hour, 14 minutes, 39 seconds); 2. Ryan Bartell (1:30:06); 3. Steve Pionek (1:33:18); 4. Steve Bothe (1:34:53); 5. Salvador Orduna (1:36:16).

Females (out of 83 participants): 1. Laura Schmitz (1:26:20); 2. Carolyn Smith (1:33:42); 3. Paula Tompkins (1:35:17); 4. Laura Baggett, Markesan (1:40:18); 5. Jessica Anderson (1:40:24).

5k Run

Males (out of 109 participants): 1. Stu Sorrel (18:50); 2. Cody Slagter (19:54); 3. Corey Splittgaber, Berlin (20:22); 4. Conor Diedrich, Ripon (20:56); 5. Scott Janssen (21:17).

Females (out of 131 participants): 1. Lora Moody (22:16); 2. Natasha Novak (23:17); 3. Jennifer Waryjas (23:19); 4. Connie Bean (23:24); 5. Trinn Van Horn (23:26).
