Ripon College just released the following statement about this morning's bomb scare.
"Ripon Police have given an 'all clear' after investigating a bomb threat on the Ripon College campus.
"Several handwritten notes were discovered by College employees shortly after 8 a.m. on Monday, April 21, describing a bomb threat for “academic buildings.”
"Ripon Police were notified immediately and the College launched their Emergency Response Plan at 8:19 a.m., sending emergency evacuation notifications via email and text message to all students, faculty and staff through a RAVE alert system.
"An all clear was issued at 9:45 a.m. after Ripon Police and College personnel completed a thorough investigation of all academic buildings."
Update, 10 a.m.:
An "all clear" has been sounded at Ripon College after Ripon Police spent several hours investigating a bomb threat made this morning.
Ripon College spokesperson Melissa Anderson confirmed that, minutes earlier, the green light had been given.

Authorities are investigating a bomb threat this morning (Monday) at Ripon College.
“We were notified of a bomb threat this morning,” college spokesperson Melissa Anderson told the Commonwealth this morning. “Police are investigating the situation. Following our emergency response procedures, we have evacuated all academic buildings until further notice.”
It appears all academic buildings at Ripon College have been evacuated, with students and faculty standing outside at this hour.
Scanner reports indicate police are going from building to building. More information will be posted as it becomes available.
