The Green Lake area is doing its part to promote the 2010 census, which seeks to count everyone in the nation every 10 years, as mandated by the Constitution.

A city of Green Lake committee has been formed to assist in raising local awareness.

Census questionnaires are expected to be delivered to residents around March 10, according to information provided by Green Lake Ald. Donna Moore, who serves on the committee.
