Ripon Middle School student Logan Kline, along with his family, witnessed the signing of several bills recently, including the youth hunting mentoring bill, in the Governor’s conference room.
Logan stood with top leaders from the Senate and Assembly and looked on as Governor Doyle signed the bills and handed out ceremonial pens at the state Capitol in Madison.
Following the bill signing ceremony, the Kline family was invited to the Governor’s private office where Logan was able to sit at the Governor’s desk and speak with him about the importance of scouting. The trip to the Capitol was another step in Logan’s journey to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank in the Boy Scouts of America.
