The fifth-annual Green Lake Kiwanis and Green Lake Bank Mardi Gras Nine-Pin Tap Tournament was held Feb. 27 at Plaza Bowl in Ripon.

The club raised more than $3,000.

This is enough to send three Green Lake County kids with special needs to Camp Wawbeek in the Dells for a week.

The winning teams were JBP Printing, Big B, Mauston M and Moose Inn.

Winner of the first place raffle prize — $500 donated by Green Lake Bank — was Bud Manley of Green Lake. Second prize, a signed Packer team football, was Jack Giombetti. Third prize, two tickets to David Munnelly Band at Thrasher Opera House with dinner for two at Tuscumbia, was won by Tess Novak of Ripon.

The low score Kiwanis Team was Ripon’s Noon Kiwanis, with the high score Kiwanis Team from Green Lake. In addition, nearly 100 door prizes were given away, along with silent auction items.
