Habitat for Humanity of Fond du Lac County officials gathered with local non-profit leaders and an Alliant Energy representative for a groundbreaking ceremony Monday for a new home being built in Ripon, near Ripon High School. Digging their shovels into the ground are, from left, Habitat board member Corey Bruno, Habitat board president Stephanie Albers, Habitat Executive Director Katie Karls, Habitat board secretary Tom Walker and Steve Proctor. The home will benefit a single-parent family.
