Per the Bice family’s wishes, a memorial service planned later this month for QVC personality Jeanne Bice and her daughter, Terry “Lee” Bice, will be private.

The service for the two former Ripon residents, who died June 10 and July 1, respectively, will be held Saturday, July 23 at a Ripon-area home.

It will be limited to family and friends.

However, anyone who would like to pay tribute to the Bices may make a donation to one of their favorite charities.

Jeanne was a supporter of the hunger-relief agency Feed the Children. A donation may be made in her name via www.feedthechildren.org. Lee was an advocate for the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals; a gift in honor of her may be made via www.aspca.org.

Jeanne Bice died last month of complications due to uterine cancer.

She was 71. Read the full story in the July 14 Ripon Commonwealth Press.
