Pharmacy, walk-in clinic will open in Green Lake

CHN pharmacists Kasi Ludwig, left, and Alissa Alf prepare for the opening of the CHN pharmacy in Green Lake.

Summer brings fun, sun and relaxation. Unfortunately, it also sometimes brings bumps, bruises and sprains.

To help when the needs arises, Community Health Network is growing, with both walk-in clinic services and a new pharmacy coming to Green Lake. Starting Monday, June 17, CHN Medical Center-Green Lake will be offering walk-in clinic hours from 8 a.m. to 11:30 Monday through Friday.

Patients in need of quick-care services — including treatment for cold and flu symptoms, sinus pain, insect bites, sore throat, ear infections, rashes, minor infections, fever, cough, chest congestion, minor muscle or joint strains and vomiting/nausea — can be seen without an appointment during the walk-in clinic time. No phone call or appointment are needed.

The CHN Medical Center-Green Lake is located at the intersection of Highways 23 and 49 and County Road A.

In addition, CHN is preparing to open a pharmacy. It will be located inside CrossRoads Market, located behind the CHN Medical Center-Green Lake, at 760 Commercial Ave. in Green Lake.

The pharmacy will be open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Drive-through services will be available.

The anticipated opening of the pharmacy will be in July. The pharmacy will be staffed by CHN pharmacists.

“I am excited to be part of an amazing organization that envisioned bringing a pharmacy back into a well-deserved community,” CHN Manger of Pharmacy Operations Kasi Ludwig said. “Our pharmacy vision is to provide exceptional service, with convenience and low cost. We will also be providing one-on-one pharmacist interaction and other supportive services that I believe could improve the overall health of each customer.”
