Three area high school seniors who plan to pursue a career in health care have been awarded scholarships by the Ripon Medical Center (RMC) Auxiliary.

Each year, the Ripon Medical Center (RMC) Auxiliary collects scholarship applications from seniors at Green Lake, Markesan, Princeton and Ripon high schools.

The $1,000 scholarships are awarded to top-scoring applicants who are pursuing health care in post-secondary studies, have a seven semester high school GPA of 3.0 or better, demonstrate an initiative to work hard and achieve goals and participate in co-curricular and service activities.

The 2021 Ripon Medical Center Auxiliary scholarship recipients are:

  • Gracie Mast, Markesan High School, will pursue a nursing degree at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

  • MaKinna Post, Markesan High School, will pursue a nursing degree at University of Wisconsin–Concordia.

  • Cassandra Jennings, Ripon High School, will continue her education to pursue a family nurse practitioner degree.
