At least two of the three Ripon School Board members whose terms are expiring this spring will be running for re-election.
Terms for Tom Stellmacher, Barb Schultz and Sherry Muskavitch will be up in April. Stellmacher already has filed papers to run for the board again, while Schultz said at Monday’s School Board meeting that she plans to file them before the Jan. 4 deadline.
When asked Monday, Muskavitch said she was still “on the fence” whether to run for re-election. If she decides not to run, Muskavitch will have to file non-candidacy papers by today (Wednesday) at 5 p.m.
Any newcomer wishing to run for School Board needs to file candidacy papers by Jan. 4 at 5 p.m. Forms are available for pick up at the Administrative Service Center at 1120 Metomen St. Thus far, no one else has taken out papers.
