Two more announce write-in candidacy for School Board

And then there were three.

Write-in candidates, that is.

Voters throughout the Ripon Area School District will have a full slate of School Board candidates April 5, although half the candidates won’t appear on the ballot and will have to be written down by hand.

Citizens Nicole Mashock, Amy Pollesch and Josh Rieder all are running for School Board as write-ins. Their names won’t appear on the ballot because the deadline to file was in January.

But they can run as write-ins, and they’ll face three incumbents seeking re-election (David Olson, Gary Rodman and David Scott.)

The top-three candidates will earn spots on the School Board Tuesday, April 5.

Mashock and Pollesch are the latest to announce their write-in candidacy. Both are strong supporters of Ripon’s charter schools.
