Audrey Carol Ostrander, age 88, of Princeton, WI, passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2020, at Juliette Manor in Berlin.

She was born in Beaver Dam, WI, on July 8, 1932, to William and Elyse (Beers) Schwister. Audrey graduated from Beaver Dam High School in 1950. She worked at Kraft Foods until her father bought a grocery store in Princeton and asked her to help him run it.

On April 17, 1956, Audrey married George Ostrander at St. John the Baptist Church in Princeton. Together they owned and operated a TV business in Princeton. Audrey worked at Handcraft in Princeton from 1962 to 2004. She worked for Princeton Public School, as a bus driver for 16 years and crossing guard for 11 years. She managed American House in Princeton, where she lived for 35 years. Audrey loved talking to people and will be remembered for her quick wit, sense of humor and compassion.

She is survived by her sister, Mary Aspenson and special friends, Rose and Bill Wick. Audrey is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Lori Lynn; son, George William; her husband, George and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

A graveside service for Audrey will be held on Friday, November 27, 2020, at St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Princeton with Father Dale Grubba officiating. Memorials may be directed to Princeton Fire Department, 438 W. Main St., Princeton, WI 54968, Princeton Public Schools, 604 Old Green Lake Road, Princeton, WI 54968 or the Princeton Community Center, 212 S. Howard St., Princeton, WI 54968.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
