In 1988, Gail and Jon McConnell were united in marriage, residing in the community of Green Lake that she loved so much. Jon and Gail were fortunate to have opportunities to travel extensively, including internationally. Gail spent many pleasurable hours walking with her lifelong friend, Diana Galster-Kinas, who shared an appreciation for the beauty and history of Green Lake. She also had a passion for gardening and enjoyed water color painting. Gail’s love for her family and spending time with them in any way possible was her favorite pastime. From gardening with her dad, discussing genealogy and local history with her brother Bret, special outings with her sister, Lyn and their mom, to overnights with her nieces, Maggie and Anna. She very much appreciated the guidance and love given by her brother Brad and sister-in-law, Dawn, during her fight against cancer, as well as the support given by her brother, Bret, during treatments.
