Jacqueline E. Burlingame, age 76, of Ripon, passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2010, after a very short illness, at Fountain View Care Center in Ripon, Wis.

Jacqueline was born on July 21, 1933, in Ripon, the daughter of Walter and Ruby (Payton) Gehrke. She graduated from Ripon High School and in 1953, she married Roger Burlingame. Jacqueline was a bookkeeper for Ripon Area Service Center and than worked for Davis Manufacturing for many years. She was a past member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ, active in the Eastern Star and the Rebeccas. Jacqueline loved the outdoors, gardening, playing cards, and being with her children, grandchildren and friends.

Survivors include her daughter, Vicki (Tom) Faris of Ripon; grandchildren, Ryonen Faris, Christopher, Andrew, Jennifer, Michael, Matthew, Kyle Burlingame, Laura (Derrick) Debrecevich and Barbra (Jeff) Poortenga; eight great-grandchildren; nephew, Brian (Diana) Davis; nieces, Lynn (Rod) McDonald and Ann (Charles) Craft. Jacqueline was preceded in death by her husband, Roger in 2001; son, Delmar in 2005; sister, Arlene Davis in 2004; and brother-in-law, James Davis in 2004.

Visitation for Jacqueline Burlingame will be held on Wednesday, April 21, 2 to 6 p.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr. Ripon, WI 54971.

Memorial Service for Jacqueline Burlingame will be held on Wednesday, April 21, 6 p.m, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Rev. Joshua J. Sherman will officiate. Inurnment will take place on a later date at Hillside Cemetery in Ripon. A memorial is being established in Jacqueline’s name.

Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon, is assisting the family.
