Jerome “Jerry” Wesley Mollet, age 74, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Monday, March 29, 2021, at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee.

Jerry was born October 12, 1946, in Highland, IL, the son of Henry L. and Fern Mary (Landolt) Mollet. He graduated from Greenville High School in Greenville, IL and went on to further his education at the University of Illinois. In 1967, Jerry married Mary “Joan” Martin in Sorento, IL. He started at Green Giant in Belvidere, IL and transferred to Ripon in 1974. Jerry retired from Seneca Foods in 2016. He was an avid gardener and a giant pumpkin grower. Jerry enjoyed watching Westerns and reading in his spare time.

Survivors include his wife, Joan Mollet of Ripon, WI; four children, Jean (Tom) Siewert, Judy (Doug) Rehm, Jason (Teresa) Mollet and Janean (Jon) Van Beckum; two grandchildren, Ben Rehm and Cassie Van Beckum and step-granddaughter, Shelby (Sam) Braatz; one sister, Wilma Holcmann of Sorento, IL and two brothers, Fritz Mollet of Salem, IN and Mike Mollet of Sorento, IL. Jerry was further survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Fern Mollet.

Visitation for Jerry will be held on Monday, April 5, 2021, from 9:30 – 11:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.

Funeral Service for Jerry will be held on Monday, April 5, 2021, at 11:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with Reverend Donald Deike officiating. You may view a livestream of Jerry’s funeral by visiting www.facebook.com/butzinmarchant/live/ at 11:00 am on Monday. Interment will follow at Bethel Reeds Corners Cemetery in the Town of Metomen.
