Marvin Meilahn Cluppert

Marvin Meilahn Cluppert, age 83, of Fairwater, WI, passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2018, at Ripon Medical Center.

Marvin was born October 3, 1935, in Marquette, WI, the son of Fred and Hulda (Malahn) Cluppert. In 1957, he married Ruth Ann Elizabeth Carstensen at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon. Marvin worked at Alliance Laundry on the transmission line and retired after 27 years. He enjoyed gardening, Sunday drives and he looked forward to Sunday morning visits with his grand puppies Leo and Diesel.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Ann Cluppert of Fairwater, WI; three sons, DuWayne (Laurie L.) Cluppert of Markesan, WI, David (Laurie G.) Cluppert of Brandon, WI and Merlyn Cluppert of Fairwater, WI; grandkids, Nick Cluppert of Oshkosh, WI, Theresa (Tom) Roberts of Markesan, WI, Charlene (Billy) Jackowski of Markesan, WI and Stacey (Bill) Hein of Cambria, WI; great-grandkids, Ethyn and Isaac Roberts both of Markesan, WI, Zander and Jacee Jackowski both of Markesan, WI and Baby Hein on the way in April of 2019; one brother, Wilbert (Sue) Cluppert of Fond du Lac, WI, sister, Evelyn Schmidt of Marquette, WI and two sisters-in-law, Grace Cluppert of Fairwater, WI and Marilyn Rueckert of Ripon, WI. Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Art, Herb, Emery and Russell; two sisters-in-law, Muriel and Twila Cluppert and brother-in-law, LeRoy Schmidt.

Visitation for Marvin will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018, from 9 – 11:00 am at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ, 343 Scott St., Ripon, WI 54971.

Memorial Service for Marvin will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018, at 11:00 am at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ with Reverend Dr. Kevin P. Mundell officiating. A memorial is being established in Marvin’s name.
