Rebecca Sue "Becky" Carrico

Rebecca Sue “Becky” Carrico, 51, Ripon, Wis., one of God’s special people, joined her mom and dad in heaven Aug. 28, 2010. She was born Nov. 22, 1958 to the late Rev. Jim and Betty Carrico in Clintonville, Wis. She lived a wonderful life, loved very much by her family and a group of exceptional caregivers in Ripon. One of her greatest joys was working at Diverse Options for the past 23 years.

Becky put 110 percent into living her life to the fullest. She loved to travel and was especially thrilled to go to Disneyworld and every year to camp. She always had a hug for anyone she met whether a close friend or a stranger. Her family believes she was the best example of God’s love on earth.

Survivors include her five siblings and their spouses, Stephen and Nancy Carrico, Lee Lake, Philip and Kathy Carrico, Fairbanks, Alaska; Timothy and Pamela Carrico, Capron, Ill.; Mark and Pamela Carrico, Wausau; and Jane and Richard Pick, Oshkosh; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends. Becky was very proud of being an aunt and a great-aunt.

Friends may call after 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1, at Immanuel United Methodist Church, 401 West Fond du Lac St., Ripon, where the funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Paul Nulton officiating. Burial will be at Fort Howard Memorial Park in Green Bay. Online condolences may be expressed at www.lyndahl.com.

A memorial fund has been established for Diverse Options in Becky’s name.

The family would like to express special thanks to Becky’s wonderful caregivers, Sandy, Tammy, Donna, Pam, Diane and Sue.
