Steve Gerretson, age 75, of Berlin, WI, passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at Brown-Wilcox Assisted Living in Berlin, WI.
Steve was born, October 9, 1940, in Rockford, IL, the son of Ralph and Fern (Deihl) Gerretson. He graduated from Ripon High School in 1958 and then went on to serve our country in the United States Army Reserves. Steve was a member of the Prairie View Masonic Lodge 95 in Ripon and the American Legion Post 306 in Green Lake, WI.
Steve is survived by his ex-wife, Carrie Gerretson of Green Lake, WI; step son, Andrew Fox of Berlin, WI; sister, Gale (Kenneth) Kleppin of Wheaton, IL; father-in-law, Ken Weiske; brothers and sisters-in-law, Angie (Steve) Griggel, Martin (Jill) Weiske, and Paul (Diane) Weiske. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins. Steve is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Fern Gerretson and mother-in-law, Marcie Weiske.
Per Steve’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation will take place. A memorial is being established.
