Payton Bryden has had Berlin’s number the last couple of years.
It continued last week Thursday.
For the third-straight season, the Ripon High School senior no-hit the Indians.
The Tigers won the game, which took place in Berlin, 10-0 in six innings to sweep the season series. They also defeated the Indians 8-6 a few days earlier at home.
“He pounded the strike zone with fastballs and Berlin did not have an answer,” Ripon head coach Dan Jonas said. “It was one of the best performances I have seen Payton pitch at high school. He overpowered Berlin with no player hitting one out of the infield.”
Bryden struck out 11 batters and did not issue a walk in the contest.
He came an error away from his first-career perfect game.

The senior’s performance was not the only thing that stood out to Jonas during last week’s contest.
“Offensively, I thought our approach at the plate was great,” the Tiger head coach said.
