Former Green Lake High School baseball standout Aaron Dott is hosting a youth skills camp in Green Lake.
The camp, which will focus on pitching and hitting skills, will be held Oct. 24, 31 and Nov. 7 at Green Lake High School. Hitting sessions will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and pitching sessions from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
Dott will be joined by several experts, including pitcher Ben Bersnik, who played with Dott at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
Bersnik is in the Seattle Mariners’ minor league system while Dott is within the Tampa Bay Rays’ system, most recently pitching for the Rays’ single-A affiliate, the Bowling Green Hot Rods.
“It’s a camp to give back to the community and get extra work for the kids,” Dott said.
Cost for the three-day camp will be $75 for the hitting portion and $75 for the pitching portion, or $125 for both.
