As the Ripon High School football team hit the field Monday for its alternative fall season it felt more like fall than it did winter as the temperature was near 60 degrees.

The Tigers, who are coming off a playoff berth in 2019, will be led by second-year head coach Mark Bradley. They are scheduled to take part in a scrimmage Friday, March 19 against Laconia at Ingalls Field, before opening their season Friday, March 26 at 4:30 p.m. with a home game against North Fond du Lac.

Ripon will be part of the Flyway Conference this season as the majority of East Central Conference schools played football in the fall. Winneconne and Waupun will join Ripon in moving to the Flyway Conference.
