The Tiger boys brushed off a disappointing loss to hang on for a 47-41 non-conference win in Wautoma Monday night.

The Tiger basketball team was coming off a loss to Xavier last week Friday that all but dashed its conference title hopes. And, according to coach Dean Vander Plas, Wautoma plays a similar style to Xavier.

The Tigers found themselves in a tight game, as they struggled with the full-court press that Wautoma was applying. After a tie at the end of the first quarter, Ripon was down by one at the half.
